Phil Smith has also been very good when he has been called upon.

So, the training this season done by Wilson, Shirtliff, Wood and the others must be good. I also think we look alot fitter than we have done in recent seasons.

I don't, I've proper let myself go. And Wilson's done nothing at all about it, hasn't called me in for extra training, made me run round Wanborough or anything. Wilson OUT!

I think Lucas has been a very good signing. Don't know what the Leeds fans were moaning about tbh.

Clearly our Goalkeeping coach has improved things no end and is no doubt key. When Smith has played he's been a different player with more diverse distribution than in previous seasons.

It may not have been the funniest thing ever Dave. But did the humour of pauld's post really escape you?

After seeing Ankergren flap at a cross against Kettering, I think we've got a good deal in getting Lucas.

On reflection he kept us in it yesterday. We could well have been embaressed 2 or 3 nil without his man of the match performance.

Has to be said, that Granville was a clown as well. At one point we had the board saying we were going to be the best run club in the country, when we had blatently let two decent go to the dogs with bad management and bad coaching.

David Lucas was one of the players blamed for the final days of Gary McAllister's tenure at the club. He had two seasons at Elland Road, playing only a few times in the league in his first year and then starting the second season under McAllister as first choice, that season started pretty well for him Leeds and he certainly did well at the County Ground but then they lost to Histon, Tranmere, Colchester and the franchise and that was that for him.

The comments I read of Lucas composed by Leeds fans does not reflect his form thus far this season.... Gillingham aside!

Plus Lucas is alot better than that fatty Leeds signed from Cheltenham.
