A living nightmare..wonder how many in the past has suffered the same fate.....at least he has abit of a life now,not much in our eyes but must be like being reborn to him.

Read The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. An utterly bleak experience, but its probably the closest you'll get to feeling how the 'trapped' individual feels.

I thought this was going to be a thread about a Swindon fan who hadn't missed a game for 23 years. I reckon a coma would be a better proposition than that.
