Spiders.
Me too. To the point the Mrs has to deal with them. "They're more scared of you than you are of them" - I boody doubt it.

I'm terrified that one day I'll develop one of these crazy unfounded fears and will no longer be able to feel superior over those mentals which already have one.

That's a fucking ace phobia. I remember the first time i bumped into Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, clearly named by a Brit with a strong sense of irony.

Heights is my only phobia, spiders etc don't bother me in the slightest but heights scare the living crap out of me.
If i have to go up anywhere high, i just have this feeling that i want to jump off to get it over with rather than have to stay up there, so my feet always stay firmly on the ground if possible.
Flying i am ok once i'm up high enough that i can't see the ground!

I was on holiday a few years ago, in a queue at a bar and the woman in front of me asked the guy behind the counter for a tea bag. The man next to her jumped out of his skin and then proclaimed to have a phobia of teabags. I wasn't convinced he was genuine though, and thought it was more an attempt to start a conversation with this bird

I'm the same - can't cope with heights if I'm not enclosed - break out in a cold sweat and have to really force myself to move. However flying I'm absolutely fine with, and even things like the London Eye I can cope with as I'm completely enclosed (although I wouldn't say I'm entirely comfortable doing it!).

My favourite phobia has to be Aibohphobia, the fear of palindromes. Whoever came up with that clearly had a sense of irony.
