dire game and sat near the biggest bunch of morons with some cock who kept making some daft noise
Was that the one that sounded like he was raping a parrot? The game ..... meh. Poor game, uninspiring performance from most, Billy worked hard, as did JPM and Cuthbert who both played well. But when all's said and done, we won and we're through to next round. I'll take that but we'll need to play better Tuesday if we're to progress in JPT

wokings no11 was the worst player i've ever seen(well almost)a few of ours ran him close. Couldn't agree more. Mr Sam-Yorke, I commend you for being one of the bright points of an otherwise interminably dull game with how terribly bad you were. First game I've seen for a few months and blimey it was dull, but at the end of the day, we're through and so are Oxford, so we're still on to meet in the final.

What is it with shagging the avian creatures on this thread. Fb doing a penguin and now someone raping a parrot. Very odd!

He did a bit.
My favourite was the gay ex-actor brighton fish bar owner on an old Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares which looked just like Gary Stanley
Was he dressed like Michael Jackson?

By the way, does anyone know what the Linesman was trying to flag for on the goal? Probably offside as that's what he was doing all afternoon.

I thought he was trying to bring the referee's attention to his unfamiliarity with the rules of football.

Let's be honest it was never going to be a classic and some of the mongs sat around me today were fooking plain irratating.
I thought there keeper made some pretty decent saves for them but Woking were woeful in the final third which was lucky for us.
Amankwaah & Timlin were pure shite today and both were guilty of giving the ball away and puttimng pressure on us.
Paynter & Cuthbert were my MOM today but JPM deserves recognition for another solid performance. Credit to Smithy too he did well and looks a lot more confident now we have a new coach.
At least we're in the hat for the 2nd round and that's what counts.

Does anyone have a record of our progress over the last 20 years or so? Until the late 1990s I know we used to get a bye until the 3rd round and, I think, the furthest we have been during my time as a fan has been the 5th round. Which round was our televised tie vs Aston Villa in the early 1990s? (I remember catching the coach from Oxford just to buy the tickets for that one...they were like gold dust.)

I was sitting near the idiot making strange noises as well, what the bloody hell was that all about, think I'd prefer a trumpet!(It's called care in the community!) It was a performance that got us into the next round enough said. Cuthbert was excellent again.
