Just wondering like. Seems like a long shot, but also something that they might have sorted.

Pretty certain it does, but you need the Internet Channel for it.

No dedicated app as far as I'm aware.

The internet channel was free recently (previously it was 500 points). It contained a bug which shafter iPlayer, but they should have fixed it now.  iPlayer used to work fine so you should be OK.

Charging for the browser is taking the piss, though fortunately I got it when it was free - never used it though.

yeah. I was pissed off that they charge for it now. I think that 500 points works out pretty cheap so not the end of the world. Shame that nobody has written a homebrew alternative.

Has anybody else homebrewed their wii? It's really easy to do and is ace for running snes emulators, media players with your portable harddrive plugged in, scummVM, DosBox and other shit.

Its still free isn't it?

You also get free credits for recommending a friend for the browser. Got myself Mario 3 (NES) with my free points the other day. Ace.

ooh if it's free again I'll grab it. It was free ages ago and then went back to being a few hundred points. Ace if it's free again. I'll have a look when I get home.

I didn't realise they were soft hacks to get stuff on the Wii now, thought it was still mod chip only.

I just read up on it and it looks worth doing, especially for all the old skool stuff. Have you tried Mame on it?
