The one thing that i found a little surprising, was that the programme didn't touch on Katie
receiving any ongoing counselling.It would be great for her to meet somebody like
Simon Weston,who was terribly injured in the Falklands war and also received terrible facial
burns.Just a chat with him would help boost her confidence and self esteem and to show her
that a new life is just beginning for her.

Saw this and it made me really angry about the evil people out there (as did the story about the poor puppy as well!).
I'm glad that for once the justice system got it right and the guy who instigated the acid attack and raped the poor girl got 2 life sentences! IMO he should never see the light of day again - absolute cunt!

But what does that mean ? Life no longer means life does it ? It won't be long before some one from Lawyers R US is persuading a judge that they are no longer a threat to society & banging them up is against their human rights. The latest example being the decision to shorten the sentence given to the lodger in the baby P case. |

Occasionally one just despairs of the human race, watching that program was one of those occasions (however Katies courage was uplifting).
The guy who instigated this was pure evil and clearly a nutcase, the guy who actually did it is just a complete and utter useless waste of space stupid retarded cunt (utterly ruining someones life for what £500 or something?).
Do either of these have any remorse?
Both deserve everything they get in prison.

Oh my god - I have a heart of stone but this just really got to me both me and my boyfriend were really moved- She is such a beautiful beautiful person - I really had an overwhelming urge to want to be friends with her and look after her
I think its because she is very tiny and blonde and reminded me a bit of Zoe that it upset me even more

I couldn't watch this. Found myself going all Daily Mail reader ('Lock 'em up, throw away the key'.) You have to question the mental health of the ex-boyfriend and the accomplice who carried out the attack. How do you atone for a disgusting crime like that? Words fail me.
