I know it's really serious.
Do you think he'll really pull through?

The guys dragging him off stage didn't look like they were pissing about (at first I assumed it was someone had got on stage and was being hustled off by security - and thought "Fuck me, they're a bit keen"). And he was pretty much straight off stage and into an ambulance. So whether it turns out to be a false alarm or not, certainly at the time they were taking it quite seriously.
Nice tight set, though, good for Smiths fans and not padded out with any of the "plugging the new album" stuff.

as someone wrote on morrissey-solo, the first time he's played a full smiths only setlist - possibly hinting at a reunion?
honestly couldn't see him collapse or get carried from the stage, it just looked as if everyone left in a hurry from where i was stood at the back.

I was near the front so had a good view of it. I thought he was a bit subdued during This Charming Man and didn't seem to be singing with the power and clarity he normally does and then at the end of it he simply collapsed on the stage. He feinted / passed out and a few of his crew ran on quickly, picked him up and carried him off stage.
He didn't walk off the stage, he was carried and was clearly out for the count and the way everyone on stage reacted made it pretty clear it was something serious and that it was the end of the night (which it was). Anyone suggesting it was anything other than that is talking complete and utter bollocks.
The good news is that judging by the news reports he's at GWH in a stable condition - hopefully its nothing serious and he'll make a speedy recovery. He doesn't come across as the kind of person that gives less than 100% on stage and I can't help but think he wasn't feeling 100% when he went on stage - someone reckoned he was looking a bit dodgy health wise at his last gig.
It was a bit chaotic after they announced he wouldn't be coming back. They told us to hold on to our tickets, which was a dumb thing to say as all the tickets had been taken at the door. The Oasis is going to have a nightmare sorting out refunds / replacement tickets as it was just chaos - they were handing out the tickets as we left but I could have gone round a few times without being questioned and plenty of people walked out the side exits without getting a ticket. A bit embarrassing that The Oasis weren't better prepared for something like this - someone is going to end up seriously out of pocket.

Poor Moz.It was not nice seeing him keel over like he did Think he's okish thankfully. Hoping we'll be alright to get our money back with just the booking form. Why they have to take the whole ticket off you at the door bemuses me.He won't be returning to Swindon, knew it was too good to be true.

Glad to hear he's stable and expected to recover. Quite worried he's been taken to GWH - if the ward he's on is anything like as clean as the elderly wards where my missus' Mum and Dad have both been in recent years, that could finish him off
