Largely agree with your report JJ,but i'll just add a few things to it.The problem for us all game
was that the midfield never played as a unit, with JPM and Macca both having poor games.
Craig Noone was the most creative and skillfull player on the pitch by a country mile.

Although we didn't have the better of the play in the 1st half,we created the best chances
only to see some shocking misses by Paynter and Ferry.

I'd give Tisdale a bit of credit for  making the tactical changes he did in taking off Corr,
Stewart and the defender on loan from Spurs. He changed his formation to 3 - 4 - 3.
Suddenly for the last 10 mins, we were having trouble clearing corners and crosses and it was
a cleverly worked equaliser, with Logan losing Greer with clever movement and a powerful header.

Overall a game of fits and starts,we need to improve and impose ourselves on teams and to play
with a lot more control from midfield.'Stop the Short corners', should become a fans campaign!

Wasnt there on Saturday but travelled down for last night.

I enjoyed the match and a point away from home is a good result even though it felt like a loss.

A little bit of me went warm inside as Amankwaaaaaahhh rose like a killer whale to bullet his header home..............like a black Shaun Taylor.....it was superb!

Well, that game was exactly like the Wycombe game.

We were the better side, with a decent striker who takes his chances we would have been 3-0 up and out sight half way into the second half. I dont agree that 1-1 was a fair result in the slightest. Their keeper was much busier than Lucas.

At 1-0 they never looked like scoring, they had fuck all upfront yet still deep down you knew somehow they would score. Dont think it came as a surprise to anyone. We didnt want to say it out loud but we all knew it would finish 1-1. No killer instinct.

Paynter was crap. Revell didnt look much better when he came on. JPM was good, again. Hutchinson looked eager, looked lively. Better touch and an extra yard of pace and he could have got in a few times last night.

Craig Noone was a threat all last night. Tore us apart. Amankwaah couldnt cope with him and thats no way a dig at Amankwaah. Noone > McNamee.

As for the corners, I was going mad each time we took a short corner because they never ever fucking work. John was trying to tell me we score just as many from short corners as we do proper corners. I disagreed and said we were far more likely to score from a direct corner. First direct corner of the game. Goal.

We scored too early. Next game we need to not score till the last minute, then, just then we might hold out.

Our fans, dickheads....well the odd one or two. Chanting greeny army and janners wasnt funny the first time, nor the second time or the fucking 33rd time. We werent playing Plymouth. Exeter is not in Plymouth. Exeter do not play in green.

I was tempted to just copy and paste what I said after Wycombe - its all the same. Exeter are in trouble.

Barry Corr was shit.

Exeter hit the deck all the time and got free kicks for all of them. Hutchinson and their defender were chasing the ball. Their player slides in to get to the ball first and he does. Free kick to Exeter?!

Last two games 1-0 up
Wilson makes some changes
We draw 1-1

Its alright being unbeaten and all that rubbish but its better to lose 1 and win 2 than draw 3.

Not good enough and we still need a striker.

Agreed the Green Army chant was pathetic and carried on far too long.....once would have been too long.

Felt slightly sorry for Barry Corr when we started singing: 'Barry Corr, Barry Corr, Barry Barry Corr, When he gets a bump, He's out six months, Barry Barry Corr'.

Only slightly though and it didn't stop me from joining in.

Thought overall we were the better side, but we didn't take our chances.

Good atmosphere created by us (Until they scored) For an open terrace it seemed pretty noisy at times. Unlike the morgue that is Huish Park.

Yeah the toilet was awful. Truly awful. The whole away end was though to be fair. It was better than Yeovil atmosphere wise as Hertha said. Some good chants. Agree about the Green Army as well. That just got on my fucking nerves and wasn't even funny. Fucking stupid. Despite all that i'd probably return to Exeter again.

Oh and why do some teams still play that crappy song when they score and then dance waving their arms up and down like retards whilst signing along? Fucking annoying.

Sorry, I had this song ready last year but as he was our player thought it wasn't appropriate (although it was) Smiley

Enjoyed Exeter away really. The ground was a bastard to find, the signs just ended in the middle of nowhere but getting out wasn't too bad. Terrace was nice. Their terrace behind the goal would make an ace new town end!

Yeah, we were saying on the way out how inbred some of our fans were. But I know they had been drinking all day, and its usually people like me annoying everyone else when Ive been drinking all day, so Il have to let them off. Shame it was a saturday, I could have drunk enough not to notice them.

Thought Wilson got the team right. Exeter started and finnished stronger, but in the middle of the match we created chance after chance. We played much better football than the Wycombe home game, some good pacy attacking.

Whilst Paynter wasnt great, he was a lot better than Hutchinson or Revell. Hutchinson is miles off the pace, he looks fast, but he isnt. His brain is as slow as his feet. Revell is a certain type of striker that Danny Wilson seems to like, the Lee Peacock. Hopefully he can get a goal soon. Also hope Paynter can keep his chin up.

Looking forward to watching the same team on saturday. Get the team to work on tap in headers in training this week. Get Kevin Amankwaah to show them all how it's done.
