If its not a private road then you already have a parking permit...called a tax disc!

I had the same sort of trouble opposite the Guide Hall in Calne when picking up Mrs Flash offspring, some bloke lost his temper because all the mums and dads parked outside his house.

I wasnt rude,,,but,,,,said i would park there again if need be...

Power to people, just park behind them and block them in! I used to have an issue when I had allocated parking in a flat. One numpty used to park there all the time, until I parked behind him on a Sunday afternoon, then didnt move my car until I went footie training on the wednesday!! I think its fair to say after that he never did it again!!

There were some twats that live near me, that had some sort of parking dispute. Their issue was that they both wanted to park in pretty much exactly the same spot, but on opposing sides of the narrow road. This meant that whoever was home last, had to park either on the same side as the early bird, or the opposite side but further down.

It got to a stupid level at one point where they insisted on parking on opposing sides and being as close to each other as possible. It just became enraging, you almost couldn't squeeze your car in between the cars sometimes and had to come to a crawl. I think an ambulance driver gave the pathetic egos a piece of his mind and it doesn't happen anymore, thank fuck.

Parking infuriates me especially in North Swindon where I live. People seem to park anywhere they feel. On the pavements, roundabouts, bends, junctions...Grrrrr.

Parking seriously seems to upset people more than any other issue in this country.  Someone I know parked on an unmarked residential street (perfectly legally) and came back to find that someone had written Do Not Park Here Twat on his bonnet in paint.  The street was pretty empty with ample space either side of him.  People get crazy when it comes to their cars and a tiny bit of land.

Eaiser said than done, if I go behind him and block him in then it makes makes it awkward for the 2 garages that are in that area as well to get out.  he needs to be parked in the corner space and then I'd like a really old car that is scrap to park there and leave it for a week (then move it undercover of darkness) The idiot is taking turns this week by the seems of it putting his car in all of the 3 spaces there day by day, he's clearly taking the piss, signs going up the weekend though and if he is parked there when we are doing the signs I will knock on the guys door and ask him to move his car as he's in private spaces, but from what I'm told (I've not seen him) he is a big built bloke so I'll make sure there is someone else about when I knock on the door.

Not sure what to do if he continues after signs are up as that will be blatant.

It could be that the parking space is marked on her deeds as part of her property. I would ask to see a copy, so that you can spead the word that it is hers. If she can't produce it then it would be fair to assume it's part of the public highway.
The council should know as well, assuiming that it is an adopted highway.

On a different note the last tuesday match (S'hampton) I parked on Rose berry st, by the CG. Knowing it was reesidents porking zone I don't park their on Saturdays, & checked the sign on the way to the C G to ensure that I was outside the restricyion times. Seeing that the time on the sign said residents parking only til 6pm I thought I was safe.
Upon returning I found I had a ticket. Duly took a photo of said sign & appealed, only to have the appeal turned down & a picture of another sign further down the road sent to me saying residents parking only til 10pm. I paid it cos I didn't want to have to risk paying double
Talk about a bloody con. Same road, two diffent timings on the signs, which sign is relevant if you park between the two... I still don't know !

Pour paint stripper on her car and smash the windscreen.

Then slash her tyres.

Pretty certain all the roads in that area are the same. Most of the spaces are residents only until 10pm and its only small sections (normally at the end of roads) which are until 6pm. Its not which sign that is closest, its the one that is on the section of parking spaces that you park in.
