Dave's wife did in July.  He's calling it a day, while Chas is continuing to tour as 'Chas & his Band'.

It is a sad day.  I saw them twice - once at the Amersham Arms in New Cross about 5 years ago and then again last year in Aldershot.  Not surprisingly, the London gig was the most fun.  One of the great double acts of the last 40 years...and they will be missed.
