anyone know how to unlock a 02 blackberry for vodafone purposes?
Had my phone nicked on holiday and been leant a Blackberry...

AFAIK, O2 don't put restrictions on their handsets, so if it was originally issued by O2 it should take any SIM.

O2 BlackBerry handsets are locked and you need to get your filthy paws on the unlock code, which in turn needs to come from RIM.
Bet bet is to speak to O2 and ask them nicely.

Probably easier to nick a Vodafone Blackberry off of someone else - I suspect the thief had the same problem and chose yours as his replacement  In a similar kind of way a Police station is always short by one pair of handcuffs and it's a known fact that the person who is missing them changes by the day because each day they steal somebody elses handcuffs to replace their own and as a result every copper is both the Victim and Perpetrator of crime. |

Yeah, my sim wouldn't work, so gonna need to try and get the code. So annoying when you get your phone nicked, lose all your numbers, too.
