It's interesting how the whole thing, from the initial prediction all the way through the explanation, was basically variations on the classic "and oh look I've got the card you'd pick written down on a piece of paper in an envelope in my jacket pocket". The exception being the coin game, which was just
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penney%27s_game. Whilst it is quite an interesting bit of sequences and probabilities, the way he didn't really explain the rules and then started spouting stuff about "Deep Maths" was a bit annoying.
I did still enjoy it, even if it was far from his best use of the explanation being part of the illusion. It seemed that the whole thing was as much at the expense of people who feel the need to smugly go around telling people how it's ridiculous and neither of his explanations can be true, as it was people who are silly enough to try averaging out peoples guesses for their office lottery syndicates.
