I saw Frankie Boyle live and he was a mega disappointment. Michael McIntyre is annoying and that Parsons isn't really a comedian, is he?

I thought Frankie Boyle live was good, well more than good because I was literally laughing out loud for a lot of it. I certainly didn't think he was that funny before.
I find McIntyre overexcitable and shouty, almost as annoying as that bloke on the T Mobile advert.

I say Frankie Boyle a few years back and thought he was very good - but he does need an audience to kick against otherwise he is just a fat bloke telling jokes. (As opposed to telling stories or working an hour of brilliant material out of a 70s comedy record like Stewart Lee).

For me, there were too many jokes in Boyle's set (when I saw him) that were done on Mock the Week or elsewhere. This took the edge off for me, hense my disappointment.
I've seen plenty of comedians live who do the tv circuit who have used plenty of material I hadn't heard them do before. Boyle's content stood out as repeats.
Frankie Boyle is undoubtfully amusing though.

Yes. He usually wears suits on TV. In a T-shirt he's got quite a gut on him.

I think alot of that is due to him having the bollocks to tell some of his jokes that many others wont due to worrying about the shows producers etc.

I like Big Suze too Batch, but Nancy is surely a superior morsel for us red blooded men to feast upon.

Good question.
A year ago it would have been Freckles, no question, but towards the end of Season 5 Juliet became a real contender.
SPOILER:
Shame that she's dead now really.

Keep it to your lost thread. some of us who gave up a while ago are still thinking they might catch up at some point.
