Get this......

Khun Shinawatra Thaksin (The Thai Prime minister) has just introduced 3 new laws.....

1) At 8.45 pm every household in the country has to turn their electriity off for 5 minutes to save money............... Fuck that, it's up to the Thai's (And us ex-pats) how much we pay on electricity and imagine the losses that the national power companies will incur.

2) Nobody can buy alcohol before 5 P.M. unless they buy 10 litres or more, the theory being that it will cut down on binge drinking, if anybody can figure that one out then please let me know.

3) All petrol stations are to be closed between midnight and 6 A.M. Well his reasoning behind that one is that Thai's spend too much money on petrol, yet basic economic factors esure that this will do nothing but increase the cost of petrol in the country.

I'd take the Iron lady agains't this knobend anyday!!!!!!!!!

Do the Thai's have an equivelant of April fools day? Is it called End of May day?

1) Sounds great. The power grid will love a sudden surge on requirements at 8:50pm!

I like this fact about Khun Shinawatra Thaksin

**Graduated from the Police Cadet Academy in Thailand**

A bet that was a right laugh, until Mahoney left.

Yep, Thaksin was an ex-copper, which just happens to be the largest Maffia organisation in the Thailand.

ARF!  I like 2).  If that isn't a good reason to stock up on booze with the weekly 'big shop' nothing is...

"We don't need all that beer, honey"
"Well, we don't want to be breaking any laws now, do we sweetheart..."

Yep he was but Liverpool turned him because they "Smelt a rat", it turned out that he was not actually buying trying to buy Liverpool with his own funds, but the Thai tax-payers money. When that hit the local press he announced that he would hold a lottery (Despite any form of gambling being illegal - a law which he upholds himself), to enter the lottery the Thai's had to buy an original Liverpool shirt at a cost of around 4,000 baht, an amount which is unaffordable to the vast majority of Thai's. He attempted to enhance his bid by stating that he was a lifetime vervent supporter of Liverpool, only for archives from the previous year quoted him saying that he was an Asrenal supporter.

To cut a long story short, even a bunch of scousers said NO t his dirty money!!!
