Anyone know of any Child friendly pubs close to the Ground that will be showing the Tottenham vs Man Utd game saturday? I havn't subscribed to ESPN becaused their fixtures look pants but want to watch this game, However i will have a seven-year-old in tow. Somebody told me the Merlin let kids in?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

the merlin used to allow kids, don't think that's changed recently. the winners will only let you in if you've got matchday tickets/season tickets last time i tried.

On the subject of child friendly pubs, I have heard that the Flag is being tidied up a bit.

Anyone got any news on this for me?

Cheers. Does it have ESPN and stay open till 8 o clock then? Don't mean to sound patronising just need to plan so i can keep the kid happy too.

When I was in the Savoy before the Christian Roberts match, there were kids in there. Acting like little shits though, if we're honest! I was just sitting down to  :eatkf: when a few went running past our table shouting all sorts of things. Little parasites those kids were, I trust yours are better behaved.  Wink

Ah what happened to the traditional pub? So many good pubs spoilt by kids running riot! One pub I really like is The Dockle Farmhouse with being a Wetherspoons openly invites children. I'm not usually fussed by kids in pubs its just this particular pub seems to attract the worst shitbags out there for some reason!

I'm not sure if the Winners has ESPN. If I can remember from the southend game they were not showing the game that was on.

Pubs shouldn't have kids in them...end of....beer gardens maybe.

What Reginald said. And on the rare occasion that my little'un joins me at my local, under no circumstances do I let her bother the other patrons.

I go to the pub to drink and relax, not to babysit other peoples kids.

The Flag has suffered from the fact that the managers have disappeared!!

And they didn't accept the apology and guest invite but went to the local rag to moan about it further.

I can see where Molly gets it from, the fuckers.

Agreed, they'll be allowed when they're 18 and not before!
