Been several times over the years and it remains a favourite trip. I think it may be a particularly good following this season from reaction of friends (some regulars some once in a blue moon) that want to go, maybe filling and needing an overspill to our allocation as has happened in the past. Decent results up to this will make that more likely. May need to get tickets before the day ?

Matchsticks are available from most petrol stations and supermarkets all year round.

Yep, they've been on sale for about a week now! I'm hoping to bring a couple of friends from uni to this one. One is a "Liverpool fan" (from Liverpool, so fair enough!). She actually once asked me if Swindon players (or League One players in general) are professionals. I was not impressed.

Sod it. I've decided i'm going to go to this. Going to book my ticket for the train later. So it's the 9:41 from Swindon that everyone is going on yeah?

If anyones at a loss what to do before heading nearer the ground, a lot of the london and south east based reds are meeting here from 11.30 ish. http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/64/645/George_IV/Chiswick , it's around 5 mins walk from Turnham Green station, then a short bus ride to GP.
