Don't start me off, friends birthday tomorrow and she probably wont even ger her present nor card till several weeks time although posted 1st class.

Postie we were talking to said he's embarassed by the whole thing and wishes that in times like this, they'd just get on with the job in hand instead of making a nuisance of themselves.

I find it hard to have sympathy when there are over 2 million unemployed people in this country who would happily swap places (GRRR old rant I know)

Just out of interest, though, why would you want to pay before the day when you're pretty much guaranteed that you can pay at the gate?  Saves you the hassle of worrying about delivery, carrying ticket around with you etc.  I'm fairly sure there will be 1,000+ of us there.

I'm going on holiday next week so needed to sort my financing out early as possible so I know what I have left!  Also bought for 2 other friends and I don't often carry cash, always pay by card so easier for me :-)

I buy early for two reasons. Firstly because I'm a student and can only get discounts in advance, and secondly because it usually saves a quid or two, which adds up over the course of a season.

Tickets are now only available on the day at Griffin Park. 300 terrace tickets and 200 standing tickets have been sold already.
