No, he was playing the new forum game. It's called "Ask the twat a question...!"
If "The Twat" answers, you get a point. Fred is winning.

below £20k pa, gawd knows when she might hear about the job given the no panic policy
Below 20k, jesus, thought it would be at least around 25k. Im waiting to hear back on 1 application (internal) and then another external which is basically a mirror of my current job, with a higher salary. Even though there isn't much about as such, gotta keep the feelers out there!

Its probably as well because working in events is a desirable job so to speak - everyday we get sent CV's of people wanting to work in the industry so they know they will prob feel the vacancy for not much money

I've just applied for a job for the first time in 5 years. A big jump from where I am, and they have a job going at my level doing what I do now so I'm a bit concerned they'll say no to the higher ranked one and then I'd look desperate if I went for the other (which I'd take).
Anyone work for Nationwide and fancy putting a word in?
edit: well done doore

Employers are getting away with a lot at the moment. I still haven't broken the £20k mark and I've been in my job nearly 3 years. Terrible.

Your a man who works in HR? Anyway when did Personnel become HR? A resource is a photocopier or a book (for example), I'm not a bloody resource, I'm a person. Therefore it will always be Personnel to me.
