On one of the League one forums there are a lot of Southampton fans who reckon they are after him as well. May be one target i don't mind missing out on.

Last week we needed strikers, now it looks like we need everything. Lets not panic though and see what happens at MK tomo.

I dont know for some reason I am warming to signing Lee Trundle. Perhaps out of desperation or perhaps he may have something to prove. I still think signing on a long term loan witha  view to a permanent deal would be the best way of dealing with this though.

A lot of city fans rate him, despite him not getting a look in. Swansea fans thought he was God. At 32 he's definitely in the twilight of his career, but he could still do a job in League 1.

And you're not impressed by anything, you morose bastard.

Ask the Leeds fans how he got on for them last season.

I don't think he was over rated, just an annoying player. He's got an excellent record at this level but for some reason it didn't work out with the shitheads.

I'm surprised more teams weren't queueing for his signature, a £1m at the time wasn't a lot of money.

Can't complain about this track record at this level and as a loan signing I guess what have we to lose?

I agree with the sentiments about a loan signing being the safest option, which is why I'm a little worried by Wilson comments in the adver today that he'd like to get him on a permanent deal but he'd probably need to be offered two years. Hopefully i'm wrong as he turns about to be a Dean Windass ageing wise.

Perhaps we can pinch Danny Welbeck on a loan.

i'm coming round to the idea. i think he could be a spark that our team needs, unfortunately that spark may be as inconsistent as someone like macca.

I agree on both counts, a bit meh but also a bit...mmm maybe he might do well occassionally, gotta be better than what we had on trial I guess....jury is out until he does sign and plays a bit.

Could be a good signing. He's got that cheeky character about him.

DV, there is no need to be so rude about Billy.

The thought of Trundle and BP up front is a bit scary...after the McMahon era, there should be an unwritten rule of never have more than one scouser in your club at any one time.
