Found some in the bottom of the freezer last night and thought "yumm" Cant remember when I bought it but thought it would be ok as it has spent its life in the freezer FFS Oh how very very wrong I was suffering today  |

Oh dear!!!!
I always thought things would be OK if that had be frozen the whole time??? luckily my freezer is not big enough to hide things away and forget about them! expecially ice cream!!!

I tend to think the same, but had a massive clear out recently. It's quite a difficult thing to do to bin seemingly decent fodder....so I got my kid to do it.  |

Depends on how good your freezer is.
Stuff like icecream can be pretty deadly if it's allowed to get warm and then frozen again. As soon as it get's above 0ish all the nasty bacteria and stuff start breeding, and freezing it again doesn't kill it. As icecream is something which isn't cooked, you never bring the level of stuff like ecoli down.
