Swindon Town: Jakub Jesionkowski, Scott Cuthbert, Sean Morrison, Craig Easton, Mark Marshall, Lloyd Macklin, Nathan Thompson, Callum Kennedy, Bradley Clark, Jan Klukowski, Panikos Efthymiades, Dean McDonald

Isn't Efthymiades the 60s/70s guy who scored loads? I wonder if it's another code name sitaution. Or maybe just his son or something.

Including a striker/attacking midfielder triallist who has drifted around non-league and appears to have just signed a contract with Farnborough Town. Go figure.

According to Wikipedia, this bloke was supposedly top scorer in 1965/66, 1968/69 and 1970/71. Would probably still do a job for us even if he is in his 60s now.

Possibly reading too much into this but looking at that team would suggest none of the 'starters' for Saturdays game have been picked so does that mean it's going to be Greer and Ifil as 1st choice centre backs to begin with?

I remember Dean McDonald, I used to work with an Ipswich season ticket holder. He absolutely hated Sam Parkin by the way, and used to hold me personally responsible for why they signed him.

He always said McDonald was going to be the next big thing to come out of Farm LandTM, he bigged him up to say he'll be better than Kieran Dyer one day..... whataprick, never liked the man.

The cypriot league is a bit like the SPL. Two or three good teams but the rest are pants.

Thats who I thought Sonic.

I think the bloke from Cyprus is not a striker but a left back

Cyprus U21 international, I am sure Fitton said we were getting a left back in on trial this week from a foreign team.

Where is Kennedy playing then?

Looks like a striker to me (from the line up)

I think DW will play Kennedy as a left midfield.

With Macklin playing behind the striker...much like the first team have been playing.

Jakub Jesionkowski

Panikos Efthymiades
Scott Cuthbert
Sean Morrison
Nathan Thompson

Craig Easton
Mark Marshall
Callum Kennedy

Lloyd Macklin

then two out of three for the other 2 positions.

Bradley Clark
Jan Klukowski
Dean McDonald

I also think that £8 for a youth/reserve fixture is a bit OTT as well IMO.
