Eugene sensationally won £50,000 of the prize money in the second big shock of the evening.

Big Brother called a Housemate to the Diary Room and Eugene was first to respond.

He sat down behind a suitcase containing £50,000 in cold, hard cash. Big Brother told him he had the option of winning half the prize, leaving the other half for the eventual winner. BB told the remaining Housemates that if he turned down the offer the prize money would double to an incredible £200,000.

Eugene was given one minute to come to his decision while he was watched on screen by the rest of the Housemates.

He looked like a rabbit caught in headlights as he pondered the choice. "Oh my God. Does that mean I'll be evicted tonight?" he asked.

"50 seconds&" was BB's only reply.

"There's no wrong answer, there's no right answer," said Makosi.

"He's in a dilemma," said Anthony.

At the end of the minute Eugene said it might not be the right decision, but he was taking the money. In the living room, his fellow Housemates applauded and cheered.



How about a fifty grand smile, Eugene?Still stunned, Eugene made his way back to the other Housemates. He felt he needed to explain why he did what he did.

"I would like to win. But by doing that it enables someone else to win. It might be morally wrong, I suppose," he said.

But none of the Housemates had a problem with his choice, except perhaps Eugene. "It just goes to show, even I've got no morals," he told them.

Makosi said she wouldnt have done the same thing, but assured him it was not a moral choice. She hugged him and said he should take them all for a drink.

Anthony suggested he could be more cheerful. "You've just won 50 grand!"

And he just cost the eventual winner 50 grand too!
