New series tonight at 8pm on BBC2.

Apparently, the identity of The Stig is to be revealed...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8111588.stm

I'll bet it's a huge joke and it'll be someone like Carol Vorderman wearing a racing suit & helmet.

Thanks for the reminder Sam, I had not noticed there was a new series in the offing.

I recon that the Stig is that German woman driver that beat Jez round the Nurburgring, but I also agree with you when it will be revealed as a joke.

Can't wait Smiley

Great. Another 10 weeks of testosterone fuelled mid 40 something jokers ranting the nuts off some metallic exotica that 99.9% can never afford to look at, let alone drive.

Bring it on!

Love Top Gear.  Sooner or later, they will need to make some changes again to keep it fresh, but for now the Three Amigos are doing just fine.

Great to see it back. It's really the only thing I watch on TV other than sport.

Enjoyable edition tonight, although the stuff with The Stig was a bit too gimmicky for my liking.  Good nonetheless though.

Never mind the Stig stuff, I hope you enjoyed the last episode of Top Gear after the Catholic Church comment!

Come on. Its not him is it. Was good though, would have liked to see him do a proper lap in the reasonably priced car.

Yes that last lap was quite funny.

On that vague subject, one thing I have always wondered is that in F1 when a car stalls on the grid, why doesn't it kangaroo down the road for a bit first?
