I can't remember what its called but there is a Polish cherry flavoured vodka that is to die for, especially when mixed with diet cherry coke (which itself is the greatest invention since sliced bread).
I tried flavouring vodka myself with sweets once and it tasted like shit. Anyone got a fool proof guide to doing it?
Wisniowka ! Buy a bottle of Polish Spiritus (get it in the deli on Groundwell Rd).In a clean screwcap bottle mix equal measures of Spiritus, boiled water which has cooled and Morrello cherry syrup, leave to stand for a couple of days and drink as it is or with ice. Wouldn't fancy mixing it with anything really, spoils it IMO. I wouldn't recommend drinking the spiritus on its own as it's really a base for making flavoured vodkas, your liver wouldn't thank you for it !.......but then if you're into hallucinating ?

I'm into Southern comfort as a rule, but when in Corfu last year, my missus & mates all went shopping leaving me in the bar (I always refuse point blank to go shopping unless i want something). So spent a few hours in the bar chatting to the nice Irish bar maid, who was giving me most of my drinks FoC. We started experimenting with various vodka's some with mixers & somewithout, but the best was definitely a bluberry flavoured vodka. The most fun was trying to get the strawberry flavoured one to taste like strawberries & cream. (Took a bout 10 attempts)

I enjoy Wyborowa or stolichnaya, but it's got to be straight out of the freezer! as for mixers, anything other than coke will do me fine thanks.

Anyone who uses the phrase to die for without turning it into a craptastic nevillewesque pun is.

Fair enough. In my defence, I'd been drinking when I posted that. Its not usually part of my vocabulary.

Slightly off subject, I had my first ever encounter with large amounts of rum last night. Needless to say much fun was had, but it has left me feeling slightly delicate. Even tonight after five beers I still felt off. The sixth, however, is cheering me up greatly.
