You know my big thread about being scared of flying/planes - you can imagine my delight when my "20 minute drive from the airport" hotel turned out to be "5 minutes from thr airport, situated at the end of the runway, planes flying so low at an adverage of 3 an hour with wheels down ready to land so low they cast a shadow on the ground and shake the bedroom" hotel!!!
Nedless to say we checked out within 24 hours and moved to a different resort (with NO help from our tour operator)
