The Killers are alright but it's a litle early in their career to headline such an illustrious festival as Glastonbury, they're not exactly anthemic either...

Coldplay would undoubtedly have been better headliners, regardless of how much people dislike them. Looking at the lineup there's quite a few bands who would have been far better headliners, i.e. White Stripes, New Order even Brian Wilson!

I didn't realise how good the lineup is, fucking hell, Skinnyman's playing Cool

I dunno I'd say there were quite anthemic. Stuff like Mr Brightside, Somebody Told Me and Jenny was a friend of mine'll get a huge reaction, only problem is one album's not much material but I expect they've got some new stuff. Reckon they might be a highlight.

Good point but it's not as if they have a huge back catalogue of anthemic tunes to plug from, they'll play the whole album.

that said, I remember when Coldplay played Glastonbury after they released their debut and Yellow went down fantastically.

One of my kids has it....there are a couple of good tunes, but you really need more than that to be considered awesome.
