Toyota?
Its a slippery slope. Teams will be named after the bloke that owns them next.

Actually sponsorship money isn't all that easy to come by at the moment, which is why Brawn GP are still called Brawn GP and have hardly any mainline sponsors on their car or overalls. That's what my mate told me anyway

That article does suggest it's a bit of a no-hoper. But why would anybody apply to F1 without having an idea,or actually having garages to work in etc etc.

As they prove on a monthly basis, the world of F1 is a very strange one and no one knows what will happen next. Plus most of that article is based to a degree on guess work, they haven't seen the actual applications so no one knows for sure exactly who is involved with what and it could all change with deals done behind the scenes.

Wonder why ProDrive didn't get a slot. Presumably not prepared to take it up the ass from Bernie and Max, metaphorically speaking.
Meanwhile the row rumbles on, with the FOTA teams given an extra week to sort out their row with the FIA/FOM. Except Ferrari, RBR and Torro Rosso, who the FIA say are contractually obliged to race, and they say they aren't,
