Agreed - too many people these days dislike anything fresh and natural - there is nothing not to like about tomatoes. I used to grow my own a lot - nothing tastes better.
I really get annoyed by fussy eaters - the type who like chicken but won't eat it off a bone - where the hell do you think it comes from?
Irrelevant rant over - I've had a stinker of a day.
Some good points well made...growing tomatoes is remarkably easy, especially if you've a greenhouse...but you can just stick them in a grow bag and use any old bit of space.

But thats just like a scientist boasting about how they can grow ebola virus. It may be easy - it doesn't make it right.

I like cherry tomatoes, but not the proper ones.
Apparently eating a testicle has been likened to chomping on a chewey tomato

That settles it then - testicle and tomato bake for dinner tomorrow.

You'll struggle to find a purveyor of testicles in Swindon these days...Eric Lane's Pork Shop in Wood Street, would have probably sorted you out, but now sadly long gone.

Luckily Reg, I live in Cardiff. Testicles on every street corner.

I think it's a sign of the recession, the Welsh instinctively turn to eating offal when times are hard...or each other.

Very true - tomorrow I will be eating my home grown tomatos and my noisy neighbours testicles. That should shut him up and save a couple of quid.
