It's because you're getting older.  Students are designed to sleep during the day.  The rest of us aren't.

Used to get the same thing when I was a postie. Asleep on my feet by half ten, and 7am was a lie-in.

I get up at 0600 most work days, 0500 if I'm on an early. Go to sleep normally between 2200-0000. I'll get up around 9-10 on a day off.

For the job I have, I wish I didn't have to get up so early but when I was doing Hygrade shifts I was on a 0400 get up etc.

After 4 months in India my body clock was a little bit thrown out. But luckily India is only 3 and a half hours ahead of Lux. I was finding myself falling asleep at 8pm and waking up at 5am ish but seem to have corrected myself this weekend and back to normal. The American's I was working with must be majorly fucked when they go back to Boston!

last two nights i've gone to bed at half 11 and woken up at half 11. Then bed at 1 and up at 10.

after 6 weeks of getting up at 5am 5 days a week I was worried my body would keep waking me up at that time, seems not.
