Not a rumour just a player i wouldnt mind....Alan Sheehan from Leeds? A left back, good set peice and delivery. Thought he was good against us when he was on loan to crewe. Same bloke who was sent off against us at home for leeds this season.

If you remember just after they took over AF said that they would be looking at players from top clubs who want first team football. (As with Cox).
When you look at the players we've had on loan over the last few years it illustrates the point. If we had signed them rather than had them on loan we'd have a hell of a team.
Examples are Carrick, Milner, Darius Henderson, & the best I've seen was Jimmy Davis (RIP). I'm not saying that we could have signed them all, but I know we could have signed Henderson rather than just acting as a shop window.

What's the deal with Ian Westlake?

Seemed a decent Ipswich player now probably going to leave Cheltenham (Oldham didn't want him).
Matt richards also and dan harding look like leaving ipswich both are leftbacks and would be good signings

Harding has impressed at Reading so would hope for Championship. I mentioned Richards in the rumours thread, would be a decent signing if he can prove his fitness

Scott Golbourne would be a more realistic signing from Reading's bunch of departing players. Left back who spent some time on loan at Oldham this season.

Also, some club is going to get a cheap deal for Owain Fôn Williams, Sky Sports are saying he's leaving on a free because he's not been paid. I hope he doesn't waste his time going to bench warm in the Prem.
