I'm glad he's signed and hasn't seen as a step too far down the ladder.

We seem to have got the nack for signing decent loan players. If only we could land Kanu on the cheap Wink

I have a feeling that if Reading go up then we will sign Kanu on a years loan from them, but if they stay down then they will want to keep him and blood him in at that level and try to offload some of their Premiership Waged "stars" ahem.

Playing regularly, probably as captain.  It a good Greer move for him.

So does this mean that either Aljofree or Ifil will be offloaded?

At present we've got 4 centre backs (Aljofree, Greer, Ifil, Morrison) plus Kanyuka and Lescinel (if they sign) as additional cover. Seems at least one too many if we're reducing the size of the squad.

I can't see Reading wanting Kanu next season no matter which league they are in, he isn't anywhere near as good as Cox was when he joined us and they let him go. A season long loan seems a logical choice for them, though I'm not too bothered whether he comes back or not - he just ain't that good.

We have literally no chance of signing OTJ. Far too good for us.

What a superb signing!  Of all the loans Greer was the one I was most bothered about!

Blimey you're easily impressed. Looked better than the crap that was there before him but didn't look a world beater to me, I'd like to think we could do better.

Crucial getting GG though. Happy Days !

Cracking bit of business and nice to have it all wrapped up before the post-season has kicked in.

Surely signing for us shows that he lacks ambition. I think we should have only tried to sign him if he didn't want to come here.

OTJ had ability but needs to improve his awareness and descision making. Do that and he'll be great. Right now no more effective than JPM. Scored a couple of important goals though.
