I had 3 in the gluepot before the match which was possibly why I was still in the mood for a drink after the game.

These pics are fairly well known but got another airing on Twitter a couple of days ago:

... but these appeared tonight and I don’t remember seeing them before (although the Football Pink extract with the dubious headline may be located somewhere in Richard Banyard’s site):

I wish when we'd brought it, we'd kept the boxes on the top of the stand, although i wouldn't have fancied getting up in to one of them...

That Facebook book is quite good for realising what a heath Robinson random collection of cobbled together stands many grounds were in the 'old days'.

Looks like a few 3Bs induced farts would send it tumbling?

I emigrated from the TE to the Shrivvy way back when.

Fantastic. I always remember being stood on the concrete terrace and the fabulous  sound of people stamping their feet on the floorboards from the seats above when there was some excitementon the pitch.  The climb up those steps at the back to get to the top tier though - an H&S nightmare.

Didn't they put away fans in the corner close to the town end at one  time or have I recalled that wrong?
