Looks like Monty's put most of the big guns out early, and left a couple of major winners at the end just in case.

That was a long day........tainted with sadness as i can't make tomorow(Warrington at 5am)...but happiness in a sense of what i saw today.
Sadness is that like arriba its to short notice to cry off work...singles should have been played today.
Madness that for health and safety we wasn't allowed on course till past 12....believe me it was more unsafe in Newport centre with 20,000 peeps crammed and waiting to get on the shuttle buses.
Can't blame the people on course as they did a great job...off course need to look at themselfs.
Anyware in the UK in October runs the risk of rain.
On the plus side i am thinking of patenting

RYDER CUP CARNAGE...a pc game on funny and dangerous moments like....hoo ray henrys in there wellies sliding all over the place.
An Irish fella who went ass over tits but still managed to kkep half his guinness in the cup...but my favourite...the hitler lookalike of a welshman steward who was telling us all to be carefull...then promply fell over a ten foot hillock to great amusement.
As for the golf didnt see alot but Poulter was quality...in his Dick Dastardly kind of way, spitting image of the treble drat man.........though Kaymer played more like Mutley.
Dont hold out much hope of a refund.....oh well.

What a bloody shame, typical British weather spoiling things again!  I'm glad you still managed to make the most of it Leefer and you're being very pragmatic about the whole thing.  I'd be absolutely distraught if I'd spent all that money and barely got to see any golf let alone the finale which you had paid for!

Shocking if some sort of refund/compensation isn't provided.  Sad

Unfortunately I don't think it's going to happen, because Sunday ticket holders are the only ones to watch the climax tomorrow, but I do think Sunday ticket holders, who cannot go, should be free to sell their ticket to people who can, so the let as many people watch the climax as possible, and therefore would get their 'compensation' that way.

the golf and atmosphere was awesome.
my anger and frustration soon left me as soon as westwood sank that putt on the 10th to get the day underway.saw every player today so i am satisfied really.
i could go tomorrow which is the only thing on offer for people who went today and didn't get what they paid to see,but i can't.
that hurts a bit as i had planned to see the singles all along.those that are able to go tomorrow have hit the jackpot.people like me have missed out.i think i should have been offered the difference between the group matches and the singles(£30)but no chance of that.
spoke to poulter, jimenez and kaymer after it had finished briefly as out of the blue as they were just walking by to go to the media centre. saw plenty of prem footballers and celebs out and about.
didn't fall over either whaich was a bonus.

a mate is going to try to get in with my ticket tomorrow.

Never liked golf, it was always shit and boring.

I don't know why i've spent the past two days watching it (when i've been able to). Should watch most of tomorrow hopefully. I know that out of the lot, i'd rather Franco played Tiger, just cost Franco can't putt for shit and because tiger's having a shit time of it - any of the other Americans could walk over Franco. McIlroy - Cink will be a good contest, and with Donald Furyk. Can see Hanson beating Mickelson too, he's just all over the place.

But, i don't know golf, i could be spouting shit, like always.
