...Buy a season ticket! Not to sure what on earth came over me today but with all the doom and gloom that everyone seems to be expecting next season I decided to take action. I'm fed up with reading all the negativity about us on various forums so I decided to take action. On the way home from work I stopped by The County Ground with a mate where we purchased a season ticket each for The Town End. (Not exactly being flush with cash we put them on the installment plan!). So there we have it. A little bit of positivety for once. STFC have 2 more season tickets holders than last season as well. On the flip side though last time I had a season ticket McMahon was in charge and we had a piss-poor season. He finally quit during the season and Quinn took over. Its been down hill ever since. Anyone else got a season ticket this year who didn't have one last season?

Good stuff.
Reminds me a little of the summer before 03/04. As Danny Invincible departed a mist of gloom was lifted by a sack full of promising new players and the rest as they say is history.
The quicker we get some signatures on contracts the better things will seem.
If some of the speculation on the player front turns out to be true then I'll be a happy bunny.

What does it work out at per month over how long? Town End is 6 installments of £52 starting July 1st. Total price £312. Works out to be about £13.50 a match. Not a huge saving but at least after December footballs all paid for!

There's no point me buying a season ticket, but I'm going to make more of an effort next year. I fancy a few of the aways as well, plus anyone who expresses even a vague interest in going will be in the town end before they know what's going on

Im sure I said I was going to go away alot during the close season last year and I did well Bristol and Leeds . I reckon its more exciting during the close season. Then the season starts we lose two in a row and every gets on the managers back and the negative vibes ruin my karma. http://www.lasvegasmercury.com/2003/MERC-Aug-14-Thu-2003/photos/guest.jpg

Don't worry, sonic and Whits are going to pick us up from the pub, and drive us to all the away games next season. I think we should make a video diary style documentary full of hilarious japes and adventures

I'd be up for doing as many away games as i can manage next season, midweek games may be a problem though. Is your flag going to have 'whits on tour' on it?

Fair play, this is what i'm doing on Friday. Do you get the ST there and then on the installment plan, or do you have to wait for it to come in the post?
