I wouldn't have a tomato itself like an apple, but in sandwiches/baguettes/salads?(ahh) they're ok raw.

The devil's spawn may come in many guises to try and fool you but they're all the same underneath. Vile, disgusting things that will kill you if you eat one and will leave you partly paralysed if you even eat a mouthful. .

Right, this has gone way too far.

I'm getting the Passata boys round your house tonight for a ritual forced tomatoes on toast.

Tomatoes in whole form (cooked or otherwise) are horrible. As part of a sauce, i'm quite fond.

Yeah, remember hearing about it on TV years ago, can't remember what it was in reference to though!
Not limited to potatoes and tomatoes either, by the looks of it:

So are potatoes, I believe...

And tomatoes are a very good anti-cancer food (lycopene if I remember rightly).

A lot of the people I know who have a problem with tomatoes say it's the seeds they don't like, although how this translated into a hatred of tomato puree and ketchup I'm not sure.  Just one of those things I guess!

I think all tomato-based things are yummy, personally.

I think I agree with you Forza, and of course they are generally associated with the colour red which we all know is sacred (especially with a bit of white and green)

Peeled plum tinned tomatoes are probably a bit of a splitter for those us who are not tomatoists.

I love them heated up with egg and bacon.

They will kill you. They are evil and will infiltrate your immune system and one day you will die.

Horrible whole, but I'll chop them up and cook with them.
