After playing football over a week ago i have had a dicomfort in my ulna bone. (the forarm about 2 inches form the elbow) its happened a few times from playing in goal, it gets inflamed and a big bump appeares but normaly goes after a few days, this time the bump is still there and any pressure i put on it caused a lot of pain in the arm, i can move my arm fine with no problems its only when contact is made with it, anyone had any similar injuries? worth getting an x-ray? im sure if it was broken the pain would be constant, just getting a bit concerned that the pain still occurs.

the only reason i ask is i can be arsed to sit in a waiitng room only for them to tell me something like "yes its fractured (or whatever) but theres nothing we can do, just rest it" coz i doubt they would put a cast on it or anything like that

Yeha, hoping it just disappears is probably a better option.

not strictly true, i broke a bone on my foot once, they put a bandage on it, gave me some crutches and sent me on my way
