Right, I have no MOT(alegedly) and frankly cant afford it, yet i managed to get my TAX disc online just a few days ago from 01 03. How i can get a tax disc through yet alegedly have no MOT is a mystery.
But say i manage to actualy find my MOT cirtificate and it says my MOT has ran out whats the worse case senario?
Ive had a look on the net but theres all sorts ranging from a 50quid fine to a jail sentance.(eek)

Surely a car with no Mot is unroadworthy making the Insurance invalid? |

Well, my understanding is that the garage reports it all on computer, so a quick enquiry to DVLA should produce the answer, you are stopped and your car possibly impounded. How that equates to you being able to buy a new licence on-line I do not understand. |

All you have to do is drive past an ANPR camera and it'll pick you up for having no MOT. Also, having no MOT means your insurance is invalid. |

Saw one on Dorcan Way the other day, but there was no means of stopping any offenders. |
