Decided to spend my hard earned cash on some shiny new CD's yesterday....The Futureheads self titled album, Nine Inch Nails-With Teeth and Weezer-Make Believe.
One word reviews:
The Futureheads- Spunky Cool
NIN-Angsty
Weezer-Rock :--
I would recommend all 3, but NIN is the stand-out, brooding, mesmerizing, a bloody good listen.

Can anyone recommend other NIN's CD's, or any other new music per se? Like most, i have an eye on new stuff from coldplay, oasis, white stripes, foo fighters, gorillaz.....

Maximo Park's new album "A Certain Trigger" is pretty good, another British band that's set to take off

NIN's  'The Fragile' was a good album.  Pretty sure it was a double album actually.

Lullabys to Paralyze - QOTSA

Was quite pleasantly surprised with this album, certainately a lot better than Songs For the Deaf although Rated R will always be my favourite QOTSA album

The first two QOTSA albums kick arse but lullabys is too long ,it has some good moments but Josh needs Nick back to give him some focus.

Songs For the Deaf still rates among one of the best albums I own.. admittedly it's a lot more commercial than Rated R and Lullabies to Paralyze but I find them both a bit dark for my tastes.

Oh yeah British Sea Power's new album "Open Season" is a bit good as well. Never thought I would be saying that, but the album has grown on me tremendously in the last few listens
