Got some reading to do for tomorrow's class. 'Stuffed and Starved' by Raj Patel. Sounds like a pretty interesting book if you take an interest in the goings on in the world's poorer nations.

Smear butter on the skin of the chicken.
The salt in the butter will make the skin go crispy. The... uhhh... wet part of the butter will keep the breast moist.
Incidentally, next week's 'Come Dine With Me' is the Swindon edition.

Another tip is to cut the entire breast off the body of the chicken, then slice it across the length of the breast. This way everyone gets a warm bit, and not just those whose serving is produced last.  |

I was talking to someone on here before now who had somehow dragged The Black Keys along to a Town game, wearing club scarves and everything, and even got a picture. Reckon you can match that?

Is it just these three days they're doing? A complete no go for me, got Roma press conference tomorrow night, Roma at home Tuesday and reserves at Fulham on Wednesday.
Not to mention Women's League Cup Final in Scunthorpe on Thursday. nice.

But no. Birdys offered my services to the retired greyhound trust to clean the kennels and walk all the 32 greyhounds there. What a nice gesture! At least I can let our Benny go for a run off the lead in one of their enclosed pens.
Can't do it anywhere else as I can't run at 45mph to catch him if he decides to do a runner in the fields around here.
Anyone got anything interesting planned for today?

This went a bit wrong, I fucking love greyhounds and their different characters, but I seem to have agreed to do voluntary work at Brighton Greyhound Trust starting at 8am tomorrow. Out of the 32, there was at least six I'd have taken home if we had a big enough house! It'll keep me occupied during the day I suppose... |
