Spoke to my dad earlier, who's been a mechanic since the age of 15. (In his 50's now) Couple of years ago he decided to get a job as a ticket inspector on the trains. He does Westbury - South Coast - Brighton. Got talking about football fans and says Cardiff, Portsmouth have always been good as gold, but Plymouth fans have been a bit rough. He chucked three off a couple of weeks ago, says British Transport Police are a waste of space and It's better to just ring the police to sort things.
He can look after himself, but I was quite suprised at this.
Not expecting any replies, just thought I'd share a bit of info.
Feel free to slate me.

Getting slated by an OAP doesn't count.
