It's tonight. Hmm, well, I was planning on doing my nice big pile of washing up but this sounds slightly less dull

I've missed most pop music this year, is there anything good? I got a bit bored of the boring identikit guitar pop, and my craving for some proper tuneful synthy beat pop hasn't been filled by the monotony of snow patrol / elbow / coldplay sound alikes.
So who's nominated for what?
All I know at the moment is that Lily Allen's new single is better than Morrissey's

Apparently Pet Shop Boys are getting an award, Ben, if that meets your synthy beat pop needs? They will be performing as well with Lady GaGa, it seems.
This message was dictated by my girlfriend.

No major reason - I've never been a fan of the Brits.

I quite liked MGMT's album, that was this year wasn't it? But aren't they american?
Spiritualized and Portisheads new efforts were pretty enjoyable to listen to, but I tended to go back to listening to their older albums again pretty quick.
I'm sure I must have downloaded more new music I just can't remember it, and I don't listen to the radio much.
"That's not my name" or whatever it's called is quite catchy, is that the Ting Tings or something?
