I just found my old graphical calculator.

I quite like

y = (cos x)x2

Proper cartesian maths graphs please, none of your silly bar charts or anything.

 Always been fascinated by helices...so this helical graph of wave motion is good, drawing a mystic nautilus is also fun..

 Whilst on the the subject of the helix in nature fB you might be interested to know, that in The Art Gallery atm is an exhibition of the later work of Henri Matisse, which includes L'Escargot....nah not the fucking horse that won the Grand National.

Isn't that the french for snail? What art gallery? The one in the museum on bath road? Or is there one in teh art centre as well?

You can get some interesting graphs using the y axis to plot the imaginary part of complex numbers, we're moving onto fractal territory there.
