Apparently Accrington Stanley have to have atleast 5,000 seats in their ground to meet minimum Football League criteria or be booted back into the conference? Barnet doesnt have 5k does it?

No, no, no. Last time they went out the league the Scummers got in. Can't they also have a rule about 3 sided grounds or lack of branches on family trees?

Apparently they only need to install 800 more seats.

It's a capacity of 5000, with 2000 seats, not 5000 seats...hence why Barnet, Dagenham etc are ok

Stupid rule, what effect does installing 800 more seats have in the real world. None that's what. There is no rhyme or reason to do it.

Surely common sense will prevail.

Football League and common sense - I wonder what Luton and Bournemoth fans would think of the two being used in the same sentence.

FA and Football League are not the same.

A simple case of overreaction by Gazza.  Not an unheard of occurrence Wink
