What is the number you have to put in, if you don't want the person you're calling to know your number?

I need to phone DRS, but I've got no signal in the office and I don't want the wind-up merchant knowing the landline number!

It will only mask for that one call, so if redial your number will come up.

Only any use though if the number the other end doesn't reject masked calls!

A somewhat similar question, anyway I can go about getting a number that keeps calling blocked? As in not even being able to ring me.

If its a "private number" your phone company can provide anonymous call rejection, it if's a presented number though not to sure.

We have a phone that has caller id display and a message that says we will not acept calls from withheld or International numbers.  The fuckers still try, just take the phone off the hook and burst out laughing, must piss them off.
