No Beer January ends at midnight, and I'm lining up a few bottles to see in the new month after Match of the Day.  Haven't decided yet, but first up is going to be a Fursty Ferret, a Hambledon Bitter or a Spitfire.

And we got a good draw today.  Happy.

I ended my 3 day recession bender in the early hours of this morning. I'm surprised I don't feel any worse.

Spitfire. Do it.

I have a Doctor Okell's IPA sat peacefully beside me, just begging to be drunk.

The Hambleton is the lightest so I'd probably start with that...

I've started with a Laverstock Park Ale made by former F1 driver Jody Scheckter. It's organic, it's bottle conditioned, it's biodynamic. It's also a bit nasty -sweet but with lots of hop bitterness.

I did that once also, jeez life was boring. I've forgotten if it's Singha or Bintang there. I know it's one of them?

I was at a partay last night....did the classic thing of guzzling down lots of different bottled ales, perrys, ciders and lagers.  Long walk to get home was good, and an early start helped.

Don't feel too bad this morning...some sort of fry up and further walking should do the job.

Only been to the pub twice in January, sales of Stella down dramatically in my local.
Going to pub today with my two lads to watch the Chelsea/Liverpool game, not allowed more than six pints a week at the moment, probably have 2/3rds of the weeks quota today.

Yesterday I had 8 bottles of Carlsberg Export, then two pints of Warsteiner before the game. A carling at half time. Two litre bottles of peroni anda bottle of spanish cava on the way home. Then I had 3 pints in Swindon. Think I saw Cox and McGovern in one of the old town bars. Millard bought me a blue wkd in some club, which I could only drink half of.

Im sure that blue wkd has given me a hangover.

Its not big and its not clever.

The best drinking I ever saw was Bowlesy doing 8 bottles of Krony before we got to the hot air balloon on the way to Nottingham Forest when we got beat 7-1.

Although seeing Clive do 8 cans of carling before we got to paddington on the way to jills made me laugh as well.
