I've found it annoying and a bit meh since series 3. I think it's just the novelty of it wore off by then. I didn't realise there had been that many series.

I also wasn't very impressed by the first episode of Skins series 3. They've changed the character names and faces, but they may have well just kept the old cast because the traits are practically the same. Although the twins look fun.

I'm the same as SP, first three series were superb, but got too cartoonish with the maguires etc, so probably wont bother.

First two series, I'd say.  I think that's when the writing team changed, and it certainly lost it's bite, becoming more a series of inuendos than anything else.

Saying that, there's worse things on the box.

Understandably the programme changed over the years, the first series was amazing new and right off the cuff. After a few series things changed and the originality of the show became the norm. But what else on tv can match it for honest real life humour? OK some things are way over the top but the idea and stories are still fantstic and as funny as!!!

My GF who is from Sweden where they dont have such estates thinks its a tragic show and feels sorry for the Gallaghers, WTF!!!
