Do Tesco's do that now? Last I was there late they still cordoned it off, but started selling again quite early in the morning.

Mental. I could swear that they'd stuck to the 11pm cut off well after the licensing laws changed. Can't remember the last time I was in Tesco that late though.
Asda definitely does close it off, or did about 6months ago anyway. Well the one in Bristol does at least.

Only on special occassions, the variety pack cereal boxes are good for the ramparts.

saturday - play cricket. lose very badly and it's only week 1, 2 day matches. head out towards the city for a mate's 25th, hit st kilda at midnight, via chapel street at 2am, buy a slab and take it home drinking till 5am
sunday - up at 10 to finish off the slab. buy a new one and take it round a mates house. into the belgium beer garden in st kilda for 2pm for a mates leaving do. back to our house for bourbon shots and then to the cricket club for a trivia night. that ends at 2.30am with the rooms an absolute mess
monday - get up, spew, start drinking udls (vodka and fruit mixers in cans). drink at home till 2 pm then head round a house party. mix udls and beer all day until getting home at 11
tuesday - get up, spew, back to bed, down to the beach, back to bed
wednesday - still feeling crook as a dog. off to the night session at the tennis tonight.
ps. bottle shops are all open on australia day
