On a free. Thats an absolute steal. Always rated him as a keeper, and surprised how long he stayed at chelski since the arrival of cech.

He is the perennial sub goalkeeper, like Stuart Taylor & Steve Harper.

Carlo Cudicini has spent pretty much his whole career on the bench, he might get a run in the Spurs team every now and again.

Felt sorry for him when he was finally a first team keeper, and good for Chelsea only for them for bring in Cech. The latter is better, but Cudicini did nothing wrong.

Disagree Rich, I think he'll play every game he's fit for Spurs.

FOC, that is an amazing deal.

I dont think he will.  Gomes has improved massivly since his clown spell. He's one of those keepers though, he can make saves that very few others can, but is always likley to do something a bit mental.

He'll certainly go straight into their team, depends if they sell Gomes or not.

This free transfer could well be the signing of the season for them.

Chimbonda as well.....i fear for the sanity of Harry Redknapp..cant see him keeping Spurs up and there is going to have to be an almighty clear out if they go down...Cudacini was on £55,000 a week at Chelsea so he wasnt in a hurry to leave, top keeper though.

It's quite interesting that Redknapp has gone for two players that Ramos ditched in Defoe and Chimbonda - Robbie Keane next Cheesy
