He was such a huge part of my childhood he will be sorely missed, my missus actually had a tear in her eye when she heard.

a bloke who was part of proper kids tv.i always used to wish i had a picture on the wall that he'd point out during a programme.it didn't help that i was useless at art, and never sent in a pic though.
