I thought the programme was exploitative, that seemed to be neither in the interest of Gazza or the children. I turned it off half-way through, very sad

I never get enough of seeing this though

It was very upsetting, hes is so obviously very mentally disturbed, bi polar....OCD...Alcoholic...the bloke has no chance of ever making a full recovery from all 3.

I have friends with all of those but no one person has all 3 of them at one go, hes on a losing battle with life.

Very very sad indeed, poor fucker.

I remember hearing first about his OCD when before the Scotland game in EURO 96 they didnt play the 3 Lions song on the coach on the way to the ground and Gazza refused to get off the team bus until they put the song on for him....then he went out and played a blinder.

Hugely flawed talent, such a shame.

Exactly the same.

I remember watching that Alan Hansen documentary about life after football and there was a ill looking Gascoigne late 30's/early 40's on an exercise bike talking about staying fit and finding a new club - I don't think he ever officially retired.

He makes me SO angry - every since I read his autobiography Ive always thought he never tried to help himself - even when his addictions etc seemed to be under control his so called freinds like Jimmy 5 bellys etc will be the death of him - what he puts his family through, It made me so sad - Cheryl deserves a medal - she has never been able to move on the poor women - the way Regan is as well - god it was such a sad programme it made me cry

I'm with Rich on this one, I thought the programme was totally exploitative - whether he agreed to it or not, what has that served to prove other than he has issues and that his family has been messed up by it.

I do wonder about sheryl's motives in it all, but I found myself really liking his eldest son - he seemed the only one to have his dad's best interests at heart.

poor show from channel 4 for stooping so low.

That made me smile.

The state of tv in this country is at an all time low.

Cheap programmes, aimed at brain-dead viewers.

Hurrah! Obviously there's a few exceptions, but most programmes are pure drivel.
